As many of you know, Rob Van Dam was written out of TNA storylines a few weeks back during the iMPACT! tapings when he was “attacked” backstage by Abyss. In actuality, TNA had given him some time off because he only has about 12 more dates to be used in his contract with the company.

According to new reports, TNA Wrestling has been pushing for RVD to sign a new contract with the company, but he has actively declined to sign an extension because he reportedly is not happy in the company. The feeling is that he will ride out his 12 remaining dates when they want him to return and then see if he wants to re-sign with the company.
