New WWE acquisition Tyler Black worked Saturday’s Ring of Honor HDNet television tapings from The Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Black faced Davey Richards in a bout that will likely be his last TV bout with the company. He did not bring the ROH Heavyweight Championship belt to the ring, fueling speculation he’ll drop it before this particular episode airs on HDNet.

Black is currently under a WWE developmental contract but will honor booked dates with Ring of Honor before reporting full-time to Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa. Black was at WWE developmental last week.

Tyler Black changed his Twitter name to WWEBlack. The folks at Ring of Honor sent word his future in the company will be addressed on next Monday’s ROH on HDNet show.
