In an interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Eric Bischoff explained his side of what happened on Wednesday with the “official” Twitter account of Hulk Hogan. Bischoff said that him and Hogan had talked to Bubba The Love Sponge about having BTLS’s people help out with setting up the Twitter account and website.

On Wednesday morning, BTLS posted the link to Hogan’s Twitter account and Bischoff, assuming it was legit, linked it as well. Bischoff said he hasn’t talked to BTLS about why the account wasn’t verified and wished he had spoken to Hogan first.

“It is probably a 16-year-old dweeb that doesn’t have anything better to do,” Bischoff said about who could be behind the fake account. “I am 99% sure that there is no validity behind it and the person does not work for TNA.”
